Soothsayer is an add-on to Condotiero or Almogavar that assists team members record their forecast for the effort they have left on their allocated assignments. While this can be done through Condotiero or Almogavar, the project manager may not want team members to have to navigate through that comprehensive application. Soothsayer is a simple addon that a team member can use to simply see their allocated assignments and enter their forecast.

Soothsayer is fairly simple tool; it displays all of the open assignments the team member has for the selected project. Using the “Hours Left” field, the team member can enter their forecast for the effort remaining for each assignment. Soothsayer will then make all the necessary calculations, including how much of the contingency needs to be allocated to the assignment(s) or returned into the contingency. And that’s all; no need to navigate through the Conoditero screens to do this simple, but very important, task.

The team member can also export in Microsoft Excel the list of allocated assignments. Just click the "Export" button.

Soothsayer now provides the team member with a list of the tasks they’ve been assigned across all projects they are working on.

It will display a list of open tasks assigned to any team member; this list can be viewed as either just the current active tasks or all assigned tasks. The list can also be printed.
